Koedo

Kawagoe city, in Saitama Prefecture, has a neighbourhood (or two) of still intact Edo period buildings, mostly kura (storehouses). The district, known as Koedo (Little Edo) is a famous and popular tourist attraction within easy day-trip reach from Tokyo. It’s also a mere 20 minutes or so drive from where I live. All the below are Fujifilm X100s Advanced Filter mode jPegs. The original, more technical post featuring these images, plus a few more, can be found here on my Fujifilm X-Series blog.
